Three days on family-friendly trails around the Gratlspitze - the panoramic mountain in Alpbachtal. That means: three days of views, rustic alpine pastures and farms, sweeping vistas and one or two natural treasures along the way. And for the very motivated young hikers, the Gratlspitze summit adventure tops everything...
Three-day circular hike around the Gratlspitze on easy alpine paths and moderately difficult hiking trails. Suitable for families throughout. The Holzalm and the Pinzgerhof offer great overnight accommodation and refreshment stops. The schnitzel at the rustic Holzalm is famous! The view from the Pinzgerhof over the Inn Valley can easily keep up. And more importantly for children: there is a petting zoo and the opportunity to experience farm life on the mountain. Along the way there are beautiful farms with lots of animals, viewpoints, the Hösllacke to "keep your feet clean" and the Kupfersteig, where with a bit of luck you can find a sparkling treasure or two. The start is in the village of Alpbach, also known as the "most beautiful village in Austria". The optional detour to the Gratlspitze exceeds the difficulty of the circular tour, but is easily doable and extremely rewarding with sure-footed children. Short scrambling sections during the ascent from the Holzalm are secured by ropes.
If you take the summit variant to Gratlspitz, please note that there are some exposed sections here and sure-footedness is absolutely necessary!

Our three-day route is a real highlight for hiking enthusiasts and offers numerous highlights especially for families. Perfectly suitable for young and old – the route is not too long, not too difficult and also manageable for small feet.
On the way from Alpbach to Pinzgerhof and back you experience more than just hiking. Splash in the refreshing water of the "Höslacke", collect stones or pet the animals on the farms – all this makes this cozy family route an exciting adventure. A special highlight for everyone: Overnight stay at the rustic Holzalm!
