A dragon tore the Kundlerklamm gorge out of the rock. At least that's the legend - and ideally your story too, if you want to make it exciting for your children. The Kundler Gorge with its wide paths and inviting stream bed is the perfect destination for families.
Easy, wide path suitable for baby carriages through the Kundl Gorge, which is also suitable for small children.
Please do not leave children unattended in the gorge!
The gorge is closed on heavy rainy days and in winter for safety reasons.

Hobby geologists will be delighted by the extraordinary stone finds on the banks of the Ache! The hike begins at the impressive wooden bridge at the entrance to the gorge; in 15 minutes you reach the Gasthaus Kundler Klamm. Then the 3 km long gorge section begins, which you can leisurely walk in about 1 hour (one way) surrounded by mighty and bizarre rock formations.
From the Gorge station (legendary figure Dragon), the route can be continued with a nostalgic train ride to Mühltal/Wildschönau.
Hobby geologists will find materials in the creek bed of the Kundler Ache. These materials can then be processed by the Kundler Steindreherei Sandbichler (Tyrol's only stone turning workshop) into exclusive items.
