The Way of the Cross in St. Ulrich am Pillersee leads above the Pillersee to the pilgrimage church of St. Adolari. With views to the Loferer Steinberge mountains, the picturesque Pillersee lake and the Waidringer Steinplatte mountain, this themed path is a path of peace and reflection. The Passion of Jesus is explained here on 14 Stations of the Cross and invites you to linger amidst the dreamlike mountain scenery of the Pillersee Valley. A look at the pilgrimage church of St. Adolari is a must and the terrace at the associated inn invites you to take a break.
The Way of the Cross starts at the parish church of St. Ulrich am Pillersee and leads up the Kirchweg to the small Koglerkapelle. Here you turn right and follow the 14 stations to the pilgrimage church of St. Adolari. Take the bus back to the village centre. Bus stop St.Ulrich a.P. Adolari.
Alternatively: cross the main road and walk along the Pillersee lake back to the starting point (walking time approx. 1 hour).
