Description

The trail starts from the top station of the Karwendel cable car (1,500 metres). Follow the trail to the Bärenbadalm mountain hut, then walk in the direction of the Bärenkopf. The trail travels up through forest and open terrain until it comes to a wide plateau. From here, the trail climbs to the summit at an elevation of 1,991 metres (a short section is secured with ropes). The return is via the same route. Alternatively, at the junction, follow the trail to the Weißenbachalm and descend towards the Bärenbadalm, then return via the same route to the top station.
