Two city bikers on an e-bike tour in the Alpbachtal Valley
Apparently, there are people who only think about elevation gain and lap records. And then there are those like Jörg Koopmann and Lene Harbo Pedersen. The travel photographer and the artist live in Copenhagen – Europe’s bicycle capital. During their holiday in Tirol, Jörg and Lene explore the Alpbachtal Valley on e-bikes. What do they enjoy the most? Making spontaneous stops and leaving enough space for little adventures. And snapping a photo or two of those special moments, of course.
Munich – Wörgl – Brixlegg. On the way to Tirol by train.
Just a stone’s throw away: Jörg and Lene continue their journey to the Alpbachtal Valley by bus.
Having arrived at 1,000 metres above sea level, autumn is already knocking at the door.
But cool autumn evenings are no problem when you can spend them in the spa area of the Böglerhof hotel.
The next morning, the e-bikes from the hotel are ready to be taken out on an adventure.
The motorised bikes are an enjoyable change since you don’t even need gear shifts when cycling through the flat city of Copenhagen.
Making spontaneous stops whenever they want as well as taking time and making space for little adventures along the way.
That’s the greatest joy of cycling for this creative couple.
Soon the two of them ask themselves: Are we allowed to take a break already even though the electric motor has been doing all the hard work?
Yes, of course! After all, it’s supposed to be a relaxing weekend break.
