Description

Major political changes are necessary for the energy transition, which will change our energy systems through new regulations. For decades, there has been talk about this at national, EU and global level - but hardly any action. On the other hand, action has long been taken on a small scale, at the community level, in family businesses and in the private sector. We want to make visible how the energy transition is succeeding locally. This is not about high technology, innovation or large-scale financial projects. It is about those steps that are also feasible for small communities and average citizens. We present a few of them and want to encourage people to follow suit.
The whole loop is 4 km long (walking time approx. 1-1.5 h), but can be shortened. The paths are paved and can be walked with comfortable shoes. The steepest gradient is 40 metres. The starting and finishing point is the Trins primary school. The trail can be walked independently.
For interested groups, the municipality of Trins offers guidance. A teaching concept and on-site service have been developed for school classes.
