Samnaun-Compatsch - Spissermühle
This hike begins in the center of Samnaun-Compatsch. With a gentle ascent, you follow the forest road up to the "Mottas Laretas" viewpoint, where benches invite you to rest and enjoy a beautiful view of Samnaun-Compatsch. Here begins the Zitaten- und Aphorismenweg (Quotes and Aphorisms Trail), which we follow to the national border. Crossing the Malfragbach stream, you simultaneously cross the Switzerland-Austria border. The path then continues across the Zanderswiesen meadows. After crossing the Zandersbach, keep right and walk toward Spiss. After approximately 300 meters, turn right again at the playground and cross the Zandersbach once more. You are now back in Switzerland. The path then follows the wild course of the stream to Spissermühle, where the PostBus will take hikers back to Samnaun.
