The Schwarzmoos circuit in Kühtai
Start your hike at the tourist information centre in Kühtai. From there, follow the evenly ascending path. This leads past the Kaiser-Maximilian-Hütte. Although it is not open in summer, it offers a wonderful view and a good opportunity to take a short break.
From the hut, the trail continues uphill towards the Schwarzmoos plateau. A fantastic panorama opens up here. The plateau is known for its expansive landscape and the various smaller lakes that you can discover along the way. These bodies of water offer wonderful photo opportunities and invite you to pause for a moment.
The way back takes you down to the Kaisersee reservoir. This is a small, idyllic reservoir surrounded by mountains and forests and exudes a special atmosphere. Enjoy the peace and quiet and the fresh mountain air as you make the last section of your hike back to the Kühtai tourist information centre.
