Looking to up your Insta game? You won’t go wrong snapping away at these 10 destinations – the most Instagrammable hotels in Tirol (no filter necessary).

Admit it, when on a vacation, most of us have an eagle eye out for anything that would make a breathtakingly gorgeous Instagram shot. After a full day of play on a Tirol getaway, there’s nothing more important than to relax in accommodations that fit your style. Of course, some hotels are a lot more popular on Instagram than others, and some have the Instagram X-factor while other don’t. From snow over fireplaces to mouthwatering food–these Instagram feeds will bring plenty of oohs and ahhs, or at least lots of heart-eyed emojis: Here’s my round-up of the most Instagrammable hotels in Tirol, properties that will wow your friends and social media audience, whether it be because of breathtaking views, whimsical interiors, enviable locations or stunning design.

1. Mari Pop Boutique Hotel, Ried, Zillertal Valley

This place has been on a bit of a journey in recent years. It was originally the Grillhof, then had a brief intermezzo as the Pop-Down Hotel, and now it is the Mari Pop Boutique Hotel. The minimalistic design with clean lines allows guests to focus on what is truly important: the details, the landscape outside and, last but certainly not least, the art in the basement. Events and concerts are also held in this underground space. And after a long night of dancing, head all the way up to the top of the hotel for a little relaxation in the rooftop spa. Those in search of the perfect Insta pic can rent the spa for two hours and have the place all to themselves.

2. Nidum Casual Luxury Hotel in Mösern near Seefeld

Brimming with extraordinary views, pools, restaurants and infinite opportunities for wow moments, Nidum Casual Luxury Hotel is a beacon for Instagram users. The resort’s minimalist decor and surrounding landscape of immense power have enormous Instagram potential to wow your friends and inspire your followers. Setting the scene for modern and sleek, this hotel has a lot more than its stylish rooms on offer. The Nidum is a showcase of concrete and glass, wood and stone, casual and luxury, convenience and style. So stunning, you won’t stop bragging about it.

3. Jagdschloss Resort in Kühtai

With a history of hosting royalty, this quintessential mountain hotel in the style of a Tirol hunting castle is just as beautiful on the inside as it is out. The storied Jagdschloss Kühtai is an exquisite place to spend a ski vacation in style. After all, this is the very place Emperor Maximilian used as his base for hunting at an elevation of 2,000 meters above sea level. In the 19th century, the castle was in the possession of Austria’s famous fairytale Empress Sissi. Today, the stately resort with its stables and Three-Lakes-House always begs to be photographed. We promise, the historic interiors combined with traditional refined style will have your phone on burst mode at every turn. Picture yourself leaning against the charming wood-paneled wall while snagging a selfie with stag’s antlers… snap worth guaranteed.

4. Design Resort Kitzhof Mountain in Kitzbühel

Featuring plenty of original art work, Kitzhof Mountain Design Resort enchants each visitor with its beautiful decor and lovely detailing. Under its rustic gabled roof, the resort is magnificently decorated. Modern details combine with traditional Tirolean architectural features for a charming backdrop. Thanks to its location close to the heart of Kitzbühel, chances are good you might spot a celebrity to take a selfie with during peak season.

5. Gradonna Mountain Resort in Kals

Close to Großglockner, Austria’s tallest mountain, is where you will find the Gradonna Mountain Resort, featuring one hotel resort complex and 42 standalone chalets. The unpretentious mountain-inspired architecture blends in nicely with the breathtaking mountain landscape. It’s a stage-like setting from which to embrace the full glory of the lofty peaks in the environs of Kals. Plus, the Gradonna boasts ski-in/ski-out convenience for an added dose of Instagram envy. The resort’s lovely chalets are complete with a private spa area and are designed for guests wishing to experience a rustic, yet lavish, escape.

6. Aqua Dome in Längenfeld

A short drive from Tirol’s capital Innsbruck, Aqua Dome sits in the heart of scenic Ötztal Valley, surrounded by spectacular mountains and meadows. But the real draw is its outdoor thermal pools (yes, plural): one brine pool with underwater music and light effects, one massage pool with a fountain of thermal water and one pool with massage jets. The Four Star Superior Hotel is the perfect spa retreat for couples; however, it is also open for day visitors who flock here just to snap a picture of the bowl-shaped pools that are serious Insta-goals.

7. Bergland Design & Spa Hotel in Sölden

Before the Bergland graced many an Instagram feed, Daniel Craig graced it with his presence — and it’s not hard to see why. As we all know, James Bond is entirely comfortable with the finer things in life once he has saved the world, and that’s why he was based at this swish and chic five star hotel during filming for Spectre in Sölden. And while the interior of this upscale property has plenty of spaces to get snap happy, the best photo ops are arguably up on the roof, where you’ll find the hotel’s Sky Spa. Full of pools, saunas, Jacuzzis and million-dollar views of the mountainous surroundings, this spectacular venue ups the eye-candy quota even more—and hey, yes, they had James Bond staying here!

8. Nala individuellhotel in Innsbruck

The Nala located in the trendy Wilten District of Innsbruck is amid elegant old buildings. With its own delightful garden, this glamorous boutique hotel is a haven of peace at the heart of Innsbruck. The Nala takes pride in its cool, urbanized decor effortlessly nailing a truly individual style. The photo opportunities are endless, from the striking black monochrome tiled lobby to the whimsical room interiors found throughout the property. All of the rooms have colorful and highly individual decor and the Loft Southside boasts a furnished balcony facing the south. Nala’s Italian restaurant provides ample eye candy – and gives every excuse to pull out your phone at the dinner table.

9. Anthony’s Life & Style Hotel in St. Anton

Anthony’s Life & Style Hotel makes this list for three reasons: location, location, and location. The property is positioned on the lively pedestrianized main street of St. Anton and in immediate vicinity to the slopes of this world-class ski resort. The lavish spa with spacious sauna baths make up the hotel’s seductive and striking features. And while the rooms and suites are certainly inviting and cosy, the best photo ops are up on the roof, where you’ll find a chic Sky Spa and stunning views over St. Anton. In other words, have your camera handy at all times.
