A warm welcome awaits you at the Bergerhof, our 4-flower organic farm in Kals am Großglockner. At an altitude of 1,400 metres, nestled amongst lush meadows and bathed in sunshine, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the majestic mountains of the Hohe Tauern National Park. Our guiding principle – ‘With nature, for nature – feel at home at the Bergerhof’ – is our promise to you.Every day here begins with a hearty farmhouse breakfast – you’ll taste the difference. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains whilst sampling our homemade and regional delicacies. A healthy breath of fresh country air rounds off the morning and gets you perfectly prepared for an eventful day’s holiday. We run an active farm with a dairy operation. As well as our cattle, pigs and chickens, we also have a few ‘petting animals’ for you on the farm. Our cats and rabbits love being pampered by you. Our commitment to nature is also reflected in our sustainable operations: we heat our home with renewable wood chip energy, use a 20kW photovoltaic system and offer an electric charging point for environmentally conscious guests.
