Description

The tour starts at the information office in Hopfgarten and initially leads along the Sunnseitrunde. After about 45 minutes you reach the Sunnseithütte. From there, follow the signs to the middle station (trail no. 65a).
From the middle station, the route runs along the tarmac road to the Salvenalm. Now follow the road until a forest path branches off to the left. Follow this path in the direction of Gasthof Rigi (path no. 65). Then follow a forest or hiking trail to the summit of the Hohe Salve.
The return journey can be made in a relaxed manner by cable car.

Alternatively, the hike can be extended from the middle station with the 3-lake tour or the Kleine Salve panoramic tour.
