On the Gnandenwald plateau, we make a leisurely start to our 1st stage of the Bergsagen long-distance hiking trail. We make our way to Wattens via Maria Larch.

Description

We start our 5-day long-distance hike through the Hall-Wattens region in Kranzach. The bus line 3 from Hall takes us here. (Car park available for multi-day tours)

The trail leads along the Way of St. James via Brantach and Mairbach, down to the power place Maria Larch and on through Eggen.

At Thierburg Castle, the trail leads down to Fritzens and on to Wattens.

    Paid car parks.

    The first car park is located directly on the main road, for the other car parks you have to follow the road for another 400m in the direction of Terfens, then turn left (60m or 150m uphill).
