Heidi, Heidi, your world is the mountains - that's what comes to mind as we stroll across the Walder Alm. But this dream place has to be earned.
On a partly steep forest path, you reach the alpine meadows of the Walder Alm, which is strenuous but not difficult, and suddenly the view of the Karwendel becomes clear. In spring, you can enjoy the south-facing aspect here. In summer, the tour can be extended via the Garnalm or even to the Hundskopf (short via ferrata). The Walder Alm offers excellent food, the Kaspressknödel dumplings are known far beyond Gnadenwald.
From Kranzach on the Gnadenwald plateau uphill to the Walderalm, where the view opens up to the Karwendel and the Inn valley.
It is possible to reach Gnadenwald from Hall in Tirol with "Line 3 (Station - Gnadenwald/Wiesenhöfen).
