By bus with line 4000 to the bus stop Hohenkendl

From Schwendt in the direction of St. Johann in Tirol, the meadow path branches off to the left approx. 200 m before the Hohenkendl inn before a bridge. There are a few parking spaces here. Walk along the meadow path, first left at the Putzenhof fork and then across the alpine pasture area of the Putzenalm on the goods path to the Stubenalm, an alpine cheese dairy. Alternative 2: Start at the Altmühl Inn in Griesenau and walk along the forest road to the Stubenalm. It is possible to continue hiking via the Lower and Upper Schnappenalm to the Schnappenstein.
