Alpine pasture / hut / mountain restaurant
On the alpine experience hike, you will discover the beautiful Alpbachtal alpine pastures and walk with stunning views from Reith in Alpbachtal to Alpbach.
We also recommend staying on the marked paths during this hike. Please also note that encounters with cows are possible in the alpine pasture area. Always be cautious and observe the rules of conduct when dealing with grazing animals. You can find details here!

First, you calmly take the Reitherkogelbahn cable car up to the top station. Now you hike past the Nisslhof on the left and follow the signs "Kerschbaumer Sattel". At the junction, turn right towards "Hechenblaikenalm" and follow the trail to the "Hechenblaikenalm" (approx. 1 h 30 min). Here you will also find the Wildsauhütte (place to rest and eat).
A little later you reach the "Hochlindalm" and after another ascent the "Kohlgrubenalm" (approx. 2 h 30 min).
From here, the hike leads one last time uphill to the top station of the Wiedersbergerhornbahn. Downhill you go again by gondola and return to the starting point by bus 620.
