Alpine pasture / hut / mountain restaurant
On the alpine experience hike, you discover the beautiful Alpbachtal alpine pastures and hike with stunning views from Reith in Alpbachtal to Alpbach.
We also recommend staying on the marked trails during this hike. Please also note that encounters with cows are possible in the alpine pasture area. Always be careful and observe the rules of conduct when dealing with grazing animals. You can find details here!

First, you take a very leisurely ride up with the Reitherkogel cable car to the top station. Now, you hike past the Nisslhof on the left and follow the signs to "Kerschbaumer Sattel." At the junction, turn right towards "Hechenblaikenalm" and follow the trail to "Hechenblaikenalm" (approx. 1 h 30 min). The Wildsauhütte (a place to stop for refreshments) is also located here.
Shortly after, you reach the "Hochlindalm" and after another ascent the "Kohlgrubenalm" (approx. 2 h 30 min)
From here, the hike leads uphill one last time to the top station of the Wiedersbergerhorn cable car. Downhill, you take the gondola again and return to the starting point by bus 620.
