Description

We start at the Mining and Smelting Museum in Brixlegg, where you can also park your car for free. If arriving by public bus, choose the Brixlegg Herrnhausplatz stop and reach the starting point after a few minutes. Along the Badgasse beside the Alpbach we reach the district of Mehrn in Brixlegg - cross the bridge to the left and follow the street along Faberstraße. At the last junction, turn right over the bridge and then reach the district of Haslach, which already belongs to Reith in Alpbachtal. Between the farms we continue straight on the gravel road until we reach the asphalt road again, turn right and cross the Alp bridge. Follow the road until a short gravel road leads down to the right - we reach Bischofsbrunn. By the second last house on the right, take the hiking trail behind the house up towards Hildegard of Bingen Garden - passing the football pitch and the Reith primary and secondary school where the Hildegard of Bingen Garden is also located on the hill.

Return is via the school and at the parking lot at the rear, take the forest path to Haidach - Bischofsbrunn. Shortly before the fountain, cross the street and take the "Stiege" down towards Mehrn and then follow the course of the Alpbach stream on the left side back to the starting point.
