Description

The circular hike starts at the Ried tourist office and leads through the village to the bathing lake. At the swimming pool, cross the parking lot to the main road, turn right, and then immediately left toward Fendels. After a few meters, a forest road branches off to the right, which is followed for nearly a kilometer until it turns into a narrow woodland path. Follow the Leithenwaldweg signs toward Fischerranch/Faggen. At the end of the forest, cross the Kaunertal road and take the wooden bridge to the left to reach Fischerranch. After a relaxed stop, return via Faggen to Prutz, passing the Faggenbach bridge and the village square with café and bakery, until reaching the Prutz tourist office. From there, follow the bike path back to Ried to complete the loop.
