Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-adapted outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow and sun protection, hat and gloves, is required for all hikes and routes.

Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone and possibly a route map, as well as sufficient provisions for routes without dining options is necessary.

Description

From the church, walk through the village and turn left after the bridge, until you reach the Reinstadler house -> approx. 1 km along the edge of the forest -> to the bridge and back to Vent, approx. 2 km. Dining options: inns and restaurants in Vent


Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    Travel comfortably and safely by train to Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Then you can conveniently and quickly travel by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination! The current bus schedule is available at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at

  • Parking

    In the mountaineering village Vent, the following parking options are available to you.

    - In summer, in front of the village (parking meter, coins or EC card only) and at the valley station of the chairlift (at the ticket office of the mountain railways)

    - In winter, only at the valley station of the chairlift. Cost: € 6.00 per day/car
