VENT -> HÖRNLE
Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain and sun protection, hat, possibly gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone and possibly a hiking map, as well as sufficient provisions for hikes without food stops, is necessary.
In the direction of Martin Busch Hut, the path turns right at the first rise and leads through larch forests to the Ochsenkopf and from there continues in switchbacks to the Hörndle. Beautiful view of Vent and the Stubai Mountains.
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal railway station. The terminus or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly continue by public transit or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination! In the mountaineering village of Vent, the following parking options are available.
- In summer, in front of the village (parking meter, coins or EC card only) and at the valley station of the chairlift (at the cash desk of the mountain railways)
- In winter, only at the valley station of the chairlift.
