A delightful hike via the Ölbankalm through wonderfully peaceful forests to the Lodron at an altitude of almost 2,000 metres.
The starting point for this hike is the Kelchsau-Unterdorf car park. Cross the bridge and walk left along the rushing Ache into the valley to the first fork. From there, follow the signs in the direction of Lodron (No. 79). Cross the bridge and walk up the tarmac road until you turn left into the forest. Pass the Vordere and Hintere Ölbankalm and continue to the Untere Lodronalm. Continue along the forest path until you turn left towards Lodron (No. 79). Past the Lodronalm you reach the summit of the Lodron (1,925 m). Follow the signs no. 79 back to the starting point in Kelchsau.
There are no refreshment stops along the way, so we recommend that you take enough food and drink with you.
