This hike starts at the roundabout in Pfunds and leads you along the “Forest Secrets Badsteig” trail. Following natural paths, you’ll enjoy the calm atmosphere of the forest while discovering interesting aspects of the local environment. The route continues to the impressive Kajetans Bridge, which you cross before passing the campsite and following the signs towards Altfinstermünz. Soon you will reach the historic Altfinstermünz fortress, beautifully set within a narrow gorge and offering a fascinating glimpse into the past. The return follows the same route, giving you another opportunity to enjoy the varied scenery. This hike is perfect for those who want to combine a relaxing nature experience with a cultural highlight.
