Description

The starting point for this circular hike is at the free parking lot in the hamlet of Winklen.  At the beginning, walk along the road towards Unterried. Just past the first houses, turn right and follow the signs to Wurzberg-Alm. There, the flat hiking trail leads to the districts Unterried, Lehn, and Oberried. Visible from afar is the plague chapel, which looms on a hill.  The plague chapel is one of the power places in Längenfeld. Therefore, we take the gently ascending path to it. After a short rest, the return route follows the Auenweg (along the Ache river) back to Winklen.
