Moderately difficult mountain path; suitable for sure-footed and experienced mountain hikers; good physical condition, mountain experience and mountain equipment (see under equipment) necessary. Please check the current weather report at: www.oetztal.com/en/summer.html Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-adapted outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain and sun protection, hat, possibly gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a cell phone and possibly a hiking map, as well as sufficient provisions for hikes without refreshment options is necessary.

Description

From Vent, take the double chairlift to Stableinalm and from there continue to Breslauer Hütte. Over the Seufertweg without significant ascent into the Vernagtbachtal. From there up to Vernagthütte. On an easy path to Hochjoch Hospiz and back to Vent.

Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, travel conveniently and quickly through the entire valley to your desired destination by public transport or local taxi services.   • Parking

    In the mountain climbing village Vent, the following parking options are available to you.

    - In summer, before the village (parking meter, coins or EC card only) and at the base station of the chairlift (at the Bergbahnen ticket office)

    Cost: €6.00 per day/car
