Equipment

Easy hiking trail; suitable for beginners and walkers. Please check the current weather report at: www.oetztal.com/de/sommer.html Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain and sun protection, a hat, possibly gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone and possibly a hiking map, as well as sufficient provisions for hikes without refreshment options, is necessary.

Description

In a good hour's hike through a mystically appearing, original stone pine forest, you reach the Ramolalm. The view rewards the effort of the ascent. The legendary Similaun, the massive Talleitspitze, or the famous Ötztal Wildspitze are within reach.

Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, travel conveniently and quickly with public scheduled transport or local taxi companies throughout the valley to your desired destination.   • Parking

    In the mountaineering village of Vent, the following parking options are available.

    - In summer, in front of the village (parking meter, only coins or EC card) and at the valley station of the chairlift (at the ticket office of the cable cars)

    - In winter, only at the valley station of the chairlift.

    Cost: €6.00 per day/car
