Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking shoes, wind, rain, snow, and sun protection, a hat and gloves are required for all hikes and routes.

It is necessary to carry a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a hiking map, as well as sufficient provisions for tours without dining options.

Description

Start your hike at Freizeit Arena Sölden and follow the community road to the right toward Hotel Sunny.

There, turn right onto the forest road. This leads you above the meadows through the forest to Kaisers.

From Kaisers you have two options: either return the same way, or take the paved path along the Ötztaler Ache, which leads back to Freizeit Arena Sölden via Schmiedhof and Rechenau.


Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    Travel comfortably and safely by train to the ÖTZTAL station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination.

    • Postplatz parking lot
    • Giggijochbahn + underground garage
