Moderately difficult mountain trail; suitable for sure-footed and experienced hikers.

Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain and sun protection, a hat, and possibly gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone and possibly a hiking map, as well as sufficient provisions for hikes without a place to rest, is necessary.
From Obergurgl towards Zirbenalm and to the entrance of the Zirbenwald. At the junction, go right down to the Gurgler Ache, cross the bridge and follow the path towards Beilstein. At Beilstein, a path leads uphill towards Küppele Alm. Once you arrive at the Ramolweg, follow it downhill towards Gurgl back to the town center.
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, travel conveniently and quickly by public transport or local taxi companies throughout the valley to your desired destination!
