Glistening, sparkling, brizzling - Lake Brizzi in the Ötztal Alps can do everything its name sounds like.
Panoramic hike from Vent (1,895 m) to the Martin-Busch-Hütte and on to the idyllic Brizzisee (2,860 m). The trail leads into the Niedertal valley, past the chapel and shepherd's hut, along a moderately ascending path to the Martin-Busch hut. Then steeper in the direction of Brizzisee and Kreuzspitze.
From Vent to the Ochsenkopf, halfway up to the left to the Niedertal. On a broad path past the chapel and the Schäferhütte on a moderately increasing path to the Martin Buschhütte. From there, a steep ascent towards the Kreuzspitze. The lake is on a high plateau about 300 m to the left of the trail. Beautiful panorama.
