Glistening, sparkling, brizzling - Lake Brizzi in the Ötztal Alps can do everything its name sounds like.
Panoramic hike from Vent (1,895 m) to the Martin-Busch-Hütte and on to the idyllic Brizzisee (2,860 m). The trail leads into the Niedertal valley, past the chapel and shepherd's hut, along a moderately ascending path to the Martin-Busch hut. Then steeper in the direction of Brizzisee and Kreuzspitze.
From Vent to Ochsenkopf, halfway up turn left into Niedertal. On a wide path past the chapel and the shepherd's hut on a moderately ascending path to the Martin Busch hut. From there, a steep ascent towards Kreuzspitze. The lake lies on a high plateau about 300 m to the left of the path. Wonderful panorama.
