For hikers who are free of dizziness, sure-footed, and experienced in high alpine terrain; excellent physical condition, comprehensive mountain experience, alpine climbing equipment, securing and orientation equipment, good weather conditions recommended. Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-adapted outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain and sun protection, a hat, possibly gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a hiking map, as well as sufficient provisions for hikes without opportunities to stop, is necessary.

Description

From Sölden, follow the main road or the bike path by bike to Obergurgl. From there, continue through the Swiss pine forest to the Schönwies hut. A gravel road continues to the Langtalereck hut. From the Langtalereck hut, continue on foot. You cross the Piccard bridge and climb up to the Ramolhaus.

  • Arrival by public transport

    Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel with public scheduled transport or local taxi companies throughout the valley to your desired destination!
