Appropriate equipment such as breathable suitable outdoor clothes for the weather.The pilgrimage church Maria Hilf, the starting point of the contemplation path, spiritually and contemplatively sets the mood for the circular hiking route. It leads gently ascending through lush green meadows and forests of Gries, following the Stations of the Cross to the newly constructed viewing platform. From here, you have a wonderful view of the small mountain village, in the background the distinctive mountains of the Stubai Alps with the Schrankogel and the Mutterberger Seespitze. The beautifully designed hiking trail leads slightly downhill to the collegiate chapel. After crossing the Gries main road, follow the Fischbach stream back to the starting point.
Travel comfortably and safely by train. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL train station. Afterwards, you can travel comfortably and quickly through the entire valley to your desired destination using public local transport or local taxi companies.
