Easy hiking trail; suitable for beginners and walkers

Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain and sun protection, hat, possibly gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. It is necessary to take a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a hiking map, as well as sufficient provisions on hikes without the possibility of stopping for food.
The start is in Niederthai at the Sennhof parking lot (next to the information center). From there, you go directly over the wooden bridge and turn left at the fire station towards the district Höfle. At Höfle, the street continues uphill to the district Bichl on the right. During the ascent to Bichl, you pass a viewpoint where you can enjoy a wonderful view. Those who like can continue the small route up to "Platte." There, a panoramic view awaits downhill towards Umhausen and the front part of the Ötztal as well as the surrounding Ötztal mountains. The walking path is also very suitable for families and with strollers/buggies.
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you travel conveniently and quickly through the entire valley to your desired destination by public transport or local taxi companies!
