The starting point is the parking lot in Piburg (paid), from there it goes gently downhill over the meadow to the lake. The path along the right lakeshore is flat and wide, ideally suited for strollers, wheelchairs with electric assistance, and walkers!
The left side of the lake is natural and untouched.
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The terminus or exit point is ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel through the entire valley to your desired destination by public local transport or local taxi companies!
