Description

The route begins with an easy swing along the Felbertauern Road to Mittersill, where the Gerlos Pass and the famous Krimml Waterfalls are already announced. These can also be wonderfully viewed from some of the parking spaces on the Gerlos Alpine Road, which is subject to tolls. A little later, the narrow, winding and winding Zillertaler Höhenstraße is the next highlight of this tour. The return journey to Osttirol begins through the Brixental valley via the famous Kitzbühel. This is then accompanied by the twists and turns of Pass Thurn and the panoramas of the Felbertauern Road.

Extra tip 1: The additional route to the Schlegeis dam is definitely recommended. Thirteen breathtaking kilometres through the high mountain world with waterfalls, natural stone tunnels and glaciers make the ride on the toll Schlegeis Alpine Road an impressive motorbike experience.

Extra tip 2: As an alternative to the Brixental, you can also choose the route via Hintersteiner See. You will pass Ellmau, the location of the TV series "The Mountain Doctor".
