Description

A SMALL PARADISE FORMED BY A LANDSLIDEThe valley floor of Längenfeld presents itself in lush green and with a dreamy expanse stretching over 20 kilometers. The Lehner Waterfall is also a scenic marvel: a considerable amount of mountain water crashes 80 meters deep into the gorge. Benches and wooden platforms invite you to rest and offer a magnificent panorama over the endless expanse of the place. A massive landslide over 10,000 years ago left still visible traces and a paradisiacal flora and fauna throughout the landslide area. In the middle, a jade-green shallow mountain lake, gentle structural staging makes children's eyes grow bigger. At Winkelbergsee, the small water park, and the adjoining geo- and animal nature trail, there is always action.Slightly above the lake, nestled between alpine pastures and mountain forests, lies Wurzbergalm. The many sounds and smells of the forest accompany us further to the small village of Köfels, which lies on a high plateau and was formed due to the Köfels landslide. The stage destination is soon reached, in the valley town of Umhausen.
