AQUA DOME -> Fischbach bridge -> gorge -> chapel of St. John of Nepomuk -> fire station -> AQUA DOME
Hiking trail: Easy hiking trail; suitable for beginners and walkers. Please pay attention to the current weather report.
This small but fine round is suitable for getting to know the town a little. The starting point is behind the Aqua Dome at the small bridge. Here the Fischbach flows into the Ötztaler Ache. Follow the riverbank (near Aqua Dome) to the main road which you cross. This path is dedicated to the painter Albin Egger Lienz, who spent many summer months in Längenfeld. On the opposite side, continue straight ahead to the wooden bridge. Here you change riverbank to another bridge. Now keep left. Immediately a small chapel comes into view. It was renovated a few years ago and is dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk. Follow the street a short distance to the next left turn. Here you return to the bridge you crossed earlier. Take the return path now on the river side where you are currently located back to the starting point.
Travel comfortably and safely by train. The final stop or get-off point is ÖTZTAL station. Then you travel conveniently and quickly by public transport or local taxi companies through the entire valley to your desired destination. The current bus schedule is available at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
