Description

The nature experience trail is a wonderful hiking path for young and old. It runs across the ski area of Sölden and always follows along the forest boundary. You start at the Gaislachkoglbahn middle station and pass eleven small stations and four large stations before the path ends at the Edelweiss hut. Along this path, you can see that the existence of ski areas and nature can indeed be in harmony. The educational trail covers many exciting topics. Whether it’s about the fauna and flora of the Ötztal or ancient customs and traditions, all of this is authentically worked on here. Moreover, this path offers insights into life on alpine pastures of past generations and points out the dangers in the mountains.

Of course, a hiking path is also marked by its tasty opportunities to stop for food, and there are several of those on this path. So if you want to quench your thirst for knowledge but also do something for your hunger, this is just the right place.
