VENT -> WILDER MANN -> BRESLAUER HÜTTE -> STABLEINALM
From Vent you take the Wildspitze double chairlift to Stableinalm (2,354 m). From there, you follow a wide path for about 30 minutes towards Breslauer Hütte 2,844 m, then turn right and after about half an hour you reach the junction to Wilder Mann. The ascent to the summit goes over steep and rocky terrain (secured with cables). From there, you have a magnificent view of the Wildspitze directly opposite and the Venter mountains as well as the Ortler group. The descent leads over the summit to a small notch and down a secured path to the tongue of the Rofenkarferner glacier. From there, you can either descend to the Breslauer Hütte or to Stableinalm. The walking time from Stableinalm to Wilder Mann is approximately 2.5 hours and from Wilder Mann to Breslauer Hütte about 1.5 hours. From Breslauer Hütte back to Stableinalm takes about 1 hour.
