Hike Tour: Rettenbach Glacier – Braunschweiger Hut
Suitable for hikers free of dizziness, sure-footed, and alpine experienced; very good physical condition, alpine experience and mountaineering equipment
Wearing hiking equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high mountain boots, wind, rain and sun protection, hat and possibly gloves is recommended!
The hiking trail starts from the Rettenbach Glacier over rocky terrain / scree to the Braunschweiger Hut.
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal train station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel through the entire valley to your desired destination using public transport or local taxi companies!
