Three-day circular hike in the Nature Park Karwendel starting and ending in Pertisau, with two overnight stays in mountain huts, 1,615m of elevation gain, reaching up to 1,953m, and an overnight stay in the Eng at the Großer Ahornboden.
The varied multi-day tour through the Nature Park Karwendel combines impressive mountain landscapes with traditional hut accommodation and leads in three stages from Pertisau via the Lamsenjochhütte and the Großer Ahornboden back to Lake Achensee.
Stage 1:
Hike from Pertisau (952 metres) to the Gramai Alm (walking time: approx. 2 hours 15 minutes), then on to the Lamsenjochhütte at 1,953 metres (walking time from the Gramai Alm: 1.5 hours), spend the night there.
Stage 2:
From the Lamsenjochhütte the path continues to the Binsalm (1,500 metres, managed and offers overnight accommodation). Then continue hiking to Eng (walking time comfortable 3 hours). There are several accommodation options on the Eng Alm on the Grosse Ahornboden or you spend the night in the Alpengasthof Eng.
Stage 3:
From the Eng Alm, the path leads back via the Plumsjochhütte at 1,630 metres to the Gern Alm (1,172 metres) and further back to the starting point in Pertisau (953 metres,). Walking time approx. 5 to 6 hours).
Take the regional bus (line 8332 or 390) to Pertisau and get off at the "Pertisau Karwendeltäler" stop.
